Clare Pennock

I have been a Primary school teacher for 15 years and have worked as a Maths lead for the last 5. I became involved in the Maths Hubs 'Teaching for Mastery' programme when I took on the Maths lead role and found it to be the best professional development I had ever had! This led me to train to be a Primary Mastery Specialist myself and from there I became a part of the leadership team as an Assistant Maths Hub Lead.

I am currently completing the NPQ in Leading Primary Mathematics and have the PD Lead qualification. I work part-time in a Primary School in York alongside leading an Embedding work group, Mastering Number at KS2 workgroups and my leadership responsibilities.
